A mother's search for better protection

When repeated use of conventional sanitisers aggravated her children’s sensitive skin, founder Didi Gan began questioning whether effective antimicrobial protection had to feel so harsh.

During Chinese New Year, a table filled with fruit offered a different starting point. Fruit spends its life exposed to the world, yet nature gives it an outer layer that helps protect what matters within.


Could that natural principle inspire a more considered form of everyday protection?

Working with scientific researchers, Didi turned that observation into a material-science challenge. What followed was years of research into how overlooked organic materials could be transformed into something more capable.

How it works

    ViKang’s patented active structure interacts with everyday air and moisture.

    This interaction progressively generates active oxygen over time rather than releasing all its antimicrobial action in one immediate burst.

    Active oxygen deactivates harmful microbe structures, including the outer membrane, essential proteins and genetic material harmful microbes need to survive.
